BIM I is an introductory course into current and emerging Business/Career Technologies.
Students will learn basic and advanced functions of MS Office 2007 along with other emerging Business and Social Technologies that align with TEKS or are deemed relevant by the instructor.
This is an interactive course that consists of deliverable material and project-based learning.
Students should expect to take away advanced understanding in the usage of current Career Technologies as well as a basis in how to be resourceful in a rapidly developing technological world.
Other focuses of the class include the development of Professional Presentation Skills in written, oral, and media formats, understanding of Entrepreneurship, and the study of current events in the Business world.
Grading Policy
*Late work will result in a 10 point per day deduction
*Cheating will result in an automatic zero – No Exceptions!

- Tests/Projects – 35%
- Quizzes – 15%
- Keyboarding – 10%
