Advertising/Sales Promotion
Studies have shown that kids prefer branded food to unbranded food. Don't you assume the quality of a banana with a Dole label is likely better than that of a banana with no label? Don't you think the no-name brand of cola at the supermarket doesn't taste as good as Coca-Cola? Don’t you believe that most branded products are better than those that aren't?
By the end of this course you will have an understanding of basic marketing principles, different advertising methods to reach target audiences including, newspaper, radio, TV, Internet, mail, outdoor and special promotion events. In addition, you will evaluate entry-level job positions in the exciting, constantly changing fields of advertising and promotion.

*Late work will result in a 10 point per day deduction
*Cheating will result in an automatic zero – No Exceptions!

- Quizzes, Journals, and One-day Projects – 30%
- Tests, and Multiple-day Projects – 40%
- Professionalism – 10%
